You need to have Apache HTTPD installed.
Don’t ask why, you just need it!
I hate PHP but so many people love it and write web applications for it so you will end up needing it too.
Install (Apache HTTPD with PHP)
yum install httpd php53 php53-devel
Load at startup / start
chkconfig --levels 235 httpd on
Test Apache HTTPD
Install lynx (if you don’t have it):
yum install lynx
And now let’s see if HTTPD is working:
You should also try http://126.96.36.199 in your browser (after you replace that IP with yours). This might not work because of your firewall so if it doesn’t while lynx localhost works you should check your iptables configuration.
